Standard Torque Limited Permanent Magnet Coupling

The torque Limited Permanent Magnet Coupling is generally composed of the permanent magnet rotor and the conductor rotor, between which there is a fixed air gap. When the active machine drives the conductor rotor to rotate and cut the magnetic force line in a circular motion relative to the permanent magnet installed on the driven end, the conductor rotor of the active end will generate eddy current induced magnetic field and interact with the magnetic field of the permanent magnet on the driven end, so as to realize the non-contact torque transfer between the active end and the driven end.
When the working machine is under rated load conditions, the air gap between the PM rotor and the conductor rotor is minimum. When the working machine is overloaded or stuck, the air gap between the PM rotor and the conductor rotor will increase rapidly until the maximum air gap, and the speed of the PM rotor at the working machine will drop or reach zero, thus realizing the overload protection of the motor. When the overload or stuck condition is lifted, the position of the PM rotor and the conductor rotor is restored to the original minimum air gap through the recovery mechanism, and then the machine can return to the normal working state.
