Product Description

The permanent magnet synchronous motor for water pump is a special series of PM motor designed by HIEST according to the operating characteristics of water pump. It can be used for ordinary water pump, submersible water pump and other asynchronous motor operating conditions.

The NdFeB permanent magnet material is embedded inside the rotor of the motor to provide excitation, and there is no induction current in the rotor during operation. It has significant features such as high efficiency, small size, light weight, fast dynamic response, low temperature rise, and wider economic operation range than asynchronous motors.

Advantages of PMSM

The permanent magnet motor consists of stator, rotor, bearing device, end cover, junction box, fan/fan cover, in which, the stator is a fixed part of motor and consists of one stator core, base and 3-phase field winding. The rotor, as the revolving part of motor, is mounted with permanent magnet poles. Hiest provides customers with a series of standard and customized permanent magnet synchronous motors which have the following characteristics compared with the traditional asynchronous motors:

High efficiency: Efficiency index of HCTY/HCTYP series permanent magnet motor is over 92%, reaches National Class 1 and it is superior than the EU IE4 (motor efficiency level in 2017) standard.
High power factor: As for HCTY/HCTYP series permanent magnet motor rotors, they are free for induced current excitation, while the stator winding has resistive load; the motor has high power factor when it is running between the 1/4 load and rated load. The power factor at rated point is close to 1.
High starting torque: The starting torque of HCTY permanent magnet synchronous motor is about twice that of Type Y/Y2 motor .

Wide range of speed adjustment: The motor speed is strictly in direct proportion with frequency; the variable-frequency speed adjustment accuracy is very high and the width can reach 1:1000, while the asynchronous motor is just 1:100.
